We are delighted to share about our continued collaboration with Kpedu, now in its second year. At the Kpedu Vocational College, student well-being is a top priority – especially for those young people who need extra support to stay engaged in their studies.
We asked Anne Eteläaho, Kpedu’s Student Well-being Coordinator, what led them to become a MARKED Ambassador School and how they have experienced the MARKED program:
“The program is versatile and includes new kinds of content compared to traditional life skills support packages. The ready-made, diverse materials, clear videos, and solid structure make it suitable for different groups. Students enjoy the lessons, and for teachers it has provided a concrete tool to support students’ life management and well-being.”
It has been a great honor for us to work with Kpedu’s skilled professionals and to see how their pedagogical approach and close support of students bring the program to life in everyday practice. Anne also shares their plans for this year:
“This year, the program will be implemented with new groups as part of life skills support. The ready-made material makes lesson planning easier, and once again new teachers are joining in.”
At Kpedu, strong emphasis is placed on ensuring that students receive the support and guidance they need in different situations, with the entire staff fostering everyday student life through encouraging interaction.

Kpedu is one of the Ambassador Schools where the MARKED program has offered a concrete tool to strengthen student well-being – by teaching self-awareness skills and building connection to self, others, and the surrounding world. Our shared journey continues, and in the coming school year we will share more stories and experiences from our Ambassador Schools.
